Medical program helps children diagnosed with cancer survive late effects

Almost 500,000 cancer survivors were diagnosed when they were under the age of 20, according to National Cancer Institute research from 2020. Northwell Health’s Survivors Facing Forward program is offering long-term care for children who may experience late or secondary effects from their condition. CBS News’ Jessica Moore reports.
