FDA commissioner says no risk of formula shortage as ByHeart expands recall

Infant formula maker ByHeart has expanded its voluntary recall, removing all of its baby formula from shelves. At least 15 babies have been hospitalized across 12 states with infant botulism after consuming ByHeart formula. ByHeart sells an estimated 1% of baby formula in the U.S. and the FDA commissioner says there is no risk of a formula shortage.
